You can effectively inform others of an emergency by enabling the ‘Alert Ring’ function by holding down the ‘Orange’ key on the top of the transceiver for 2 seconds. Once the radio starts transmitting the ‘Alert Ring’, it will repeatedly transmit the ringer sound until the Orange key is held down again. The ‘Lone Worker’ function also transmits the ‘Alert Ring’ if no operation occurs during a pre-set period of time. LCD Display
