Can I connect my IC-M323G to the NMEA 2000 network on my boat?

Not directly. The IC-M323G is capable of NMEA 0183, not NMEA 2000. An NMEA converter device can be used to make it compatible with a NMEA 2000 network, such as the Actisense NGW-1 (not a recommendation).
