Corrida Pédestre Athletics Festival Sees the Benefit of Icom LTE Radio System
The benefits of Icom’s new LTE radio system were perfectly illustrated at the recent Corrida Pédestre, a major athletics festival held in Toulouse on July 6, 2018.
Putting on a large athletics festival for 5,000 athletes covering an area of 10 square kilometres with differing terrain required a flexible yet dependable communication system. With 300 volunteers, doctors and first aiders, the organisers wanted to ensure that they had the best tools in place to provide efficient running of the event therefore providing great customer satisfaction.
This year the organiser used Icom’s new LTE Radio solution enabling the managers of each team as well as their security teams to communicate across a wide area with clarity ensuring the event delivered a safe customer experience for all its athletes.
