D-STAR (Digital Smart Technology for Amateur Radio) is an open digital Amateur radio standard that allows users to connect to other users globally via a worldwide network of digital amateur radio repeaters. You may be new to this side of Amateur radio technology or a seasoned pro at using D-STAR, but this page has been put together to support D-STAR users with access to various downloads and information that you may find useful. On this page, you will find repeater lists/programming software for various Icom D-STAR radios, link to our YouTube channel where various tips and information is posted and how to register with the D-STAR network. Registering with the D-STAR Network
We encourage users to register with their local repeater keeper, however, there may be reasons why users cannot register. If you require registration, then please send the following details to gb7ic@icomuk.co.uk and we will add you to the D-STAR network: • Name• Call sign
• Postcode
• Email Address Once we have received and processed your request, you will receive a confirmation email and be able to get on the air. Don’t forget, you do not have to be registered to use the repeater locally.
