HRH The Princess Royal visits the Icom Stand at the London Boat Show 2015
On Wednesday 14 January 2015, HRH The Princess Royal visited the 61st Annual London Boatshow.
Among the exhibitors stands that she visited was Icom UK where its team, led by Managing Director, Bob Stockley were on hand to answer questions about the company and range of radio products.
Bob Stockley said, ‘We are proud and honoured that HRH The Princess Royal took time to visit us and was interested in our new models, particularly our new Wi-Fi digital radios.’
He added, ‘As a company we have been attending the Boatshow for over twenty years. To have Her Royal Highness visit our stand at the end of our 40th Anniversary year in business was absolutely fantastic.’
At the show, Icom showcased its large range of award winning marine radio and navigational equipment. The company launched two new fixed marine VHF radios to the boating media including new models called the IC-M323 and IC-M423 models which features integrated GPS receivers.
The prestigious London Boatshow 2015 packed with 400 exhibitors, quality boats, products and services saw a wide array of attractions. These included celebrity guests such as Nicole Scherzinger who unveiled the latest Sunseeker Predator 57, eight world debut boat launches as well as previews of the latest in marine innovation at the Show's very first dedicated technology area, The Datatag Lab.
