Icom Financial Director to Take on London Marathon in Aid of Pilgrims Hospice
Richard Owen, Financial Director of Icom UK will be taking on his biggest athletic challenge ever by running the London Marathon on 23rd April 2017. Richard is running for the Pilgrims Hospice who looked after his father for five weeks at the end of 2015. Richard said, ‘I have been training hard to give me a good chance of running reasonably well in London…but I am 46! My longest organised run ever was last year doing a 10k so only 20 miles to find. I have shed 10% of my body weight and am now only 10 kilos heavier than Mo Farah. How hard can this run be?’ Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care free of charge to people in east Kent.
