Icom Support National Pony Society Spring Festival
Icom UK Ltd recently supported the National Pony Society Spring Festival by supplying 22 IC-F3 Handhelds to assist the marshals manage the event. In addition the company also donated a prize of a pair of IC-446S licence free radios to the winner of the Supreme Riding Pony in Hand. This went to a very deserving winner in Claire Brown from Scotland. Her prize means she can keep in contact with her mother (who is very ill) while she is out in the yard. Stephanie Fitt, Sponsorship Co-ordinator for the National Pony Society said, 'On behalf of the National Pony Society I would like to thank Icom (UK) Ltd for supplying the handhelds for the event.' She added,' Icom handhelds are proving their worth in the carriage driving world. The sponsorship secretary of the society who drives, has commented that a number of drivers use radios during lessons. The instructor can give clear instructions without need to shout across the arena.' Icom UK Marketing - marketing@icomuk.co.uk01/06/2003
