Introductory Membership of the RNLI Now with every Icom MA-500TR Class B AIS Transponder purchased!

Icom UK are pleased to announce an expansion of their participation in the RNLI Ambassador scheme.

Currently, if Icom customers purchase the IC-M71 VHF Marine Transceiver, IC-M505 or IC-M603 VHF/DSC Marine Transceivers, Icom customers will receive one year’s introductory membership of the RNLI. Icom are now including in the program, its latest Class B AIS transponder, MA-500TR.

There is no catch, inside each box will be a form to fill in which will give you a range of benefits including: a CD-ROM containing interactive educational programmes on safety at sea; the opportunity for an RNLI SEA Check; complimentary copies of the RNLI’s Offshore and Lifeboat magazines; and of course access to membership promotions. ….it’s that simple!

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. The RNLI operates over 230 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and has more than 150 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and Government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824 its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 139,000 lives.
