Firmware Upgrades for the Icom IC-9700 and D-STAR range
This firmware fixes an issue where the scan might not stop, even when the transceiver receives a signal. With the previous firmware, there was a delay in sounding the standby beep when the transceiver communicated with other manufacturers' DV equipment*. With the latest firmware, the transceiver sounds the standby beep with no delay, even when the transceiver communicates with other manufacturers' DV equipment.
*It does not occur when directly communicating with transceivers and/or application software made by Icom or Kenwood.
ID-5100E Firmware Update (E6)This firmware fixes an issue where the call-ending frame may not be sent when transmitting the D-PRS DV-A or NMEA DV-G position data in the DV mode using Release E4 or Release E5 firmware. It also fixes the following issues: - Where the call-ending frame was not sent after releasing PTT. This caused a delay in sounding the standby beep from the receiving transceiver.
- Where the repeater did not stop transmitting the downlink soon after the transceiver finishes transmitting the uplink. ID-4100E Firmware Update (1.04)
This firmware fixes an issue where the call-ending frame may not be sent when transmitting the D-PRS DV-A or NMEA DV-G position data in the DV mode using Version 1.02 or Version 1.03 firmware. It also fixed the following issues: - Where the call-ending frame was not sent after releasing PTT. This caused a delay in sounding the standby beep from the receiving transceiver.
- Where the repeater did not stop transmitting the downlink soon after the transceiver finishes transmitting the uplink. ID-51E PLUS2 Firmware Update (E3)
