Icom IC-7610 HF/50MHz SDR Transceiver and IC-R8600 Wideband Receiver to be shown at Icom headquarters Amateur Radio Festival (10th December 2016)
We have had a lot of interest from customers from across the globe about the IC-7610 direct sampling HF/50MHz Transceiver, IC-R8600 wideband receiver and IC-R30 handheld receiver which Icom Inc gave an early glimpse of at the Tokyo Hamfair in August. Since then, news has been scarce but we are pleased to let you know that Icom will be opening their headquarters in Osaka for the first time since 2012 to give further glimpses of these radios… that are still under development.
We understand that if you are lucky be in Japan at the time, you will have to pre register for the event although it will be free to enter. As well as the ‘pre-exhibition briefing and overview’ of both the IC-7610 and IC-R8600, there are plenty of other activities planned including radio clinics, seminars, D-STAR demo and support corner and the chance to win some prizes in a fun lottery
