Latest Icom Amateur Radio Range on Display at RSGB Convention 2023

Our Amateur radio team is pleased to return to the very popular RSGB convention with our range of cutting-edge transceivers and receivers. This year's convention, which takes place between the 13th and 15th of October at the Kents Hill Park Training and Conference Centre, Milton Keynes will allow UK customers to see Icom's latest range of Amateur radios including the recently launched IC-905 and ID-50E. There is also a chance to win Icom's IC-705 HF/VHF/UHF SDR Mobile Transceiver in the popular RSGB raffle at this year's convention.

Icom will have the IC-905 on display, the first off-the-shelf rig to offer not just 2 and 70 but also microwave bands, 1200, 2400, 5600 MHz and 10 GHz*. Offering a wide range of communication options, the IC-905 supports various modes, including SSB, AM, FM, D-STAR DV/DD, and FM-TV (Amateur TV) is also possible. (*optional CX-10G is required for 10 GHz operation.)

Also on display will be the ID-50E, a new dual-band D-STAR digital transceiver designed to complement Icom's popular ID-52E model providing even more choice for customers when it comes to D-STAR digital communications.

Also on show will be Icom's latest range of Amateur SDR transceivers including the IC-705, IC-7300, IC-7610, IC-9700 and the IC-R8600 wideband communications SDR receiver. We will also have the rest of our range of Amateur radio and D-STAR digital Amateur radio products.

The RSGB Convention packs in a full weekend for visitors with some of the very best amateur radio lectures from around the world. With lecture streams, forums, special interest groups, presentations and all the usual activities there is something for everyone.
