Icom IC-F29SR Professional Walkie Talkie...Slim, Compact, Waterproof and Dustproof!

Icom is pleased to introduce the new IC-F29SR professional grade walkie talkie. The IC-F29SR is the latest in a series of professional licence free radios from Icom and it retains the simplicity, functionality and build that made its predecessors so popular.

The IC-F29SR is based on Icom’s new family of professional two way radios called the IC-F1000/F2000 series, which feature a slim, compact body whilst retaining a robust structure, are waterproof and dust resistant to IP67 protection rating.

There are just three controls: transmit button, volume control and rotary channel selector. This simple interface makes it ideal for high turnover environments and shift work where the radio is often passed from person to person.

The standard BC-279 Li-ion battery provides up to a 21 hours of operating time and is a 1485mAh Lithium Ion battery pack. A fast charger is supplied as standard and this minimises down time by returning the radio to service rapidly. A single charge will last an entire shift and more.

Other useful features include a smart ring function which checks whether the radio is in communication range with a ringer sound. The IC-F29SR also has a built-in inversion voice scrambler ensuring private conversation.
