The collision alarm on my IC-M94DE sounds whilst I am sailing on a river. Can this be stopped or deselected?.

Yes, you can turn off the alarm or reduce the range at which it is triggered. If your own AIS transponder is triggering this, you can also add your MMSI to an ID Blocked list which will then be ignored by the radio.

To find these settings, press MENU, go to SETTINGS, AIS, then go to CPA/TCPA and scroll through this list of options to customise the radio set up to your needs.
