What does SO2R stand for?

SO2R, which stands for ‘Single Operator, Two Radio’ is an Amateur radio technique used by contesters in the sport of Amateur radio contesting. Using two transceivers attached to separate antennas, competitors can listen to one amateur radio band while transmitting to another. This capability enables the operator to locate other Amateur radio stations participating more efficiently in the competition to make contact and score points.
