What is the maximum size micro SD card supported by the IC-705?

The maximum size of an micro SD card that can be fitted to the IC-705 is 32GB. Please make sure not to force the micro SD card into the socket. This information is specified on page 6-1 of the basic user manual.

It should be noted that 32GB is the largest SDHC card available. SDXC cards up to 2TB are available, but the radio will not support these.

32GB should give approximately three weeks’ worth of audio recording time.
