The Ham Radio team at ICOM UK are really looking forward to this weekend as we will be attending the 2025 National Hamfest, the UK's biggest amateur radio show held at Newark showground!

Yes, as usual at HAMFEST, ICOM will be showing something new and this year we are very lucky to have the much talked about and highly anticipated IC-7300MK2 on display . This really is very exciting for us and also it will be the first public showing of the evolution of our original 7300 outside of Japan where the MK2 was unveiled a couple of weeks ago at the Tokyo Ham Fair. This new transceiver takes its revolutionary predecessor to the next level with improved characteristics and new features like the HDMI port for an external display, a built in CW decoder and twin RX antenna sockets, plus more. Our team of experts, including Chris Colclough our new Amateur Radio Specialist will be ready to give you a run through and a hands-on demonstration.

In addition, we will be showcasing all of our Amateur Radio line up, these will include, amongst others, the IC-PW2, our 1kW linear amplifier, our complete HF line up including the IC-7760 and the IC-7610 as well as the versatile ID-52E PLUS D-STAR handportable and the sleek and stylish IC-2730E (Black Edition) dual-band transceiver.
