Production Delay for the IC-7100 Multiband Transceiver

Production Delay for the IC-7100 Multiband Transceiver

Unfortunately, due to unprecedented recent demand for a model that was previously slowing down, we have come up against some component shortages. A couple of key parts have been discontinued that are used in the assembly of our IC-7100. As a result, we are now facing a production delay that is likely to affect us for the coming few months.

New substitute components have been sourced, but it means that we have to resubmit for type approval to comply with the latest standards of EN62386 and RED. However, the specification and performance of the IC-7100 will remain absolutely identical, like for like.

We should be able to go back into full production around August, and we hope this will get brought forward to an earlier date.

We are afraid this unforeseen delay is unavoidable, and we apologise for the disruption it will cause.

We do have good stock levels of all our other main rigs with good delivery quantities coming in as well so this is a one-off and there is no need to worry, it is only the IC-7100 that is affected.

We will publish an update as soon as we can to bring you good news about the restart of production.
