Changes to the Business Radio Simple UK Licence Frequencies

In mid-2017 Ofcom allocated a further four frequencies to the existing three 449 MHz frequencies in use by the Business Radio Simple UK License. This decision was made to help reduce congestion on this ever-popular frequency range, which was getting so busy in some urban areas, that some requests for licences were being rejected because of the overuse of radios using these frequencies.

The following frequencies are now available to users of a Business Radio Simple UK Licence:

449.3125 MHz
449.400 MHz
449.4750 MHz
458.7875 MHz
458.8 MHz
458.8125 MHz
458.825 MHz
