The IC-R15 Communications Receiver does have 8.33kHz receiver capabilities. Specifically, for the Aviation band (108.000 MHz ~ 136.991 MHz), you can select either 8.33 kHz or 25.0 kHz tuning steps. This is important for monitoring modern Airband communications, especially in Europe, where 8.33kHz channels are widely used and also monitored by scanning enthusiasts.
