Driving Successful Communication: Icom UK Support Captain’s Charity Golf Day

Slaley Hall Golf Club hosted its annual Captain’s Charity Day on July 17th, bringing together players and supporters for a fun-packed day in aid of a fantastic cause.

We were proud to support the event both on and off the course, providing IP503H LTE handsets to keep operations running smoothly, while team members Callum Stockley and Matthew Luckhurst represented the company on the fairways.

The event, arranged by our long-standing dealers Apex Radio Systems, was a great success, raising a massive £25,500 for Teenage Cancer Trust and Tynedale Hospice at Home - the highest fundraising total in the event's history.

Coordinating a large-scale event with 96 golfers, multiple competitions and volunteers spread across the course would have been incredibly challenging without them. A special thanks also to the organising team and everyone else who supported the event through sponsorship, prize donations, raffle ticket purchases, auction bids and volunteering. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to make such a positive impact.
