How do I connect my CT-M500 Wireless Interface Box to the IC-M510 Marine Radio?

First, ensure that the two devices are no more than 15 meters apart and that there are no obstructions. This is very important. Then follow the following instructions.

1. Turn on the M510 and the CT-M500.
2. Reset the CT-M500 by pressing and holding the RESET button until the light shows solid red.
3. Press the MENU key on the M510.
4. Press an arrow key to select Settings and press ENT.
5. Select WLAN and press ENT.
6. Select Function and set to ON.
7. Press the left arrow to back up, then select Advanced Settings. Press ENT.
8. Select Configuration and press ENT.
9. Select Access Point and press ENT.
10. Press the left arrow to back up, then select CTM500. Press ENT.
11. Select WLAN Set Up and press ENT.
12. A warning will appear saying that this will reset the CTM500. Press the OK softkey.
13. Searching will appear on the Display for a short period; the CT-M500 RESET light will be red, and then a MAC address will appear. Press ENT. The two devices will connect. A Green light will appear on the CT-M500 and the M510 will begin to receive position and time information. Other features like the hailer and RX hailer will function.
14. Press CLEAR repeatedly until the radio has returned to normal operation.
