I am an RYA training instructor, do Icom provide VHF/SRC training units?

Yes. Icom UK offers both DSC capable handheld or mounted units to meet training instructors’/students’ needs. Units we can supply are the IC-M94DE, IC-M330GE, IC-M423GE and IC-M510. The radios will be modified to send only distress and voice calls which enables the trainee to send ‘live’ calls without alerting any other radios.

The training sets provide an excellent easy-to-use, hands-on instruction tool. They can also be daisy-chained together with multiple Icom training radios.
