Icom Showcases Marine Radio and Navigational Range at the Hamble Point Boat Show
Icom is attending the Hamble Point Boat Show on 27th & 28th April 2013 and will be exhibiting its leading line of VHF fixed mount and portable radios, communication systems and Marine Commander navigational system.
‘We are looking forward to meeting our customers from the south coast and showing them our latest marine range,’ says Icom Marketing Manager, Ian Lockyer. ‘
Icom will be taking its mobile showroom which will showcase the company’s line-up of marine radios and AIS products. Icom will also exhibit the Marine Commander, a complete navigation system with integrated module options. The Marine Commander can include various options such as radar, fish finder, chartplotter, AIS and VHF transceivers on vivid, waterproof multi-function displays.
The Hamble Point Boat Show will feature dozens of new and used boats for sale, from dayboats to sportsboats, cruisers and RIBs. Visitors will be able to browse stands from many leading marine companies, including Hamble Point Marina based brokerage and new sales, as well as a well-stocked chandler. Importantly for visitors admission is completely free!
On-water displays will add to the entertainment, alongside practical workshops in conjunction with the RYA Active Marina programme, an RNLI lifejacket clinic and Dry Stack demonstrations. Young visitors will be kept entertained with a bouncy castle and rides.
