Icom UK to hold DSC presentation

Radio communications company Icom UK are to hold a special electrical equipment presentation at the HBAA club house next month. The presentation will concentrate on DSC (Digital Selective Calling) and the effect it will have on boat users.

DSC is a digital voice communication solution for boat users. DSC radios form an integrated digital safety system which allow important bodies like the coastguard to search and rescue users more effectively.

Due to the impact DSC will have on boat users, the club has kindly decided to open the presentation to anyone who wishes to attend.
