Meet Molly and Jake: The New Recruits at Icom UK

We are excited to announce that we have recently welcomed two fresh faces to the team – Molly Wade and Jake Lines.

Molly joined the Service team last month and has since been working closely with our engineers. With some previous experience with a local electronics manufacturer, Molly joins us to develop her interest in RF engineering.

Molly said, "I feel like I have learned a lot so far, repairing an assortment of boards, soldering, disassembling and reassembling equipment to fit various new components. It all helps me to learn about repairs and servicing radios, I hope to become a fully certified technician in the future."

Our other new team member Jake joined our systems department a few weeks ago and has since been getting to grips with our internal infrastructure. Having previous experience in customer-facing IT services, Jake’s role will involve managing, maintaining, and securing Icom UK’s IT network.

Jake said, "Everyone at Icom UK has made me feel very welcome and I am enjoying the variation and flexibility within my role. Working with new tech and the internal software that Icom use interests me very much and I am looking forward to developing these processes to their full potential."

The addition of Molly and Jake will undoubtedly strengthen our team here at ICOM UK and we look forward to supporting them and helping them flourish in their respective new roles.
