My IC-A25 Airband radio is showing ‘Caution, Battery Health has Declined’ on the display. What do I do?

You need to completely drain the battery and recharge it. Turn the radio on, leave it on. To drain it faster, you can open the squelch all the way and/or turn on the display backlight. When the battery is drained, put the radio on the charger and fully charge the battery.
