My new Marine VHF radio doesn’t appear to have 37A in its channel listing?

Due to the increased need for marine VHF channels for commercial use, the ITU World Radio Conference authorised and developed a new channel plan for some VHF marine radio frequencies. The conference mandated the simplex use of duplex channels so you will see that some channels are displayed differently. E.g. 37A (UK M1) on some models may now display as 1037. There is no need to worry…they will work in the same way.
