New IDAS Digital Two Way Business Radio Series

Icom have released its next generation of advanced digital two way business radios, designed to provide business users with a huge range of features on a flexible operating platform.

This new series features a high resolution colour LCD screen and an intuitive menu driven interface. The IC-F3400D handheld series is available in three different display options. The IC-F5400D mobile series is available in two display options. All variants are available in VHF and UHF.

• Built in GPS
• Waterproof and dustproof
• Mandown/loneworker functions
• Vibration Alert
• Voice announcement
• Built in Bluetooth
• Trunking upgrade
• Commandmic option (mobile only)

The new range of IDAS radios are firmware upgradeable and additional features can be purchased by a licence key system such as AES encryption.

Over-the-Air-Programming (OTAP) has been incoporated into this range which will save time for the radio dealer and minimise service disruption for the customer. A built in Bluetooth module will allow the radios to work with third party Bluetooth audio accessories. The new radios also supports secure-digital (SD) cards, which enable additional flexibility for users.
