Software updates for the Icom RC-28 IP remote control system Icom Inc. has released software updates for the RC-28 IP remote control system, a product that allows a user to control selected Icom HF Amateur radio transceivers through an IP Network

The updates come twofold:

To upgrade the systems’s RS-BA1 software with the latest version 1.40, providing the latest improvements:

• The forthcoming IC-7100 will be supported.
• Improved operation stability when using the RC-28 after your PC comes out of the sleep mode.

The new firmware for the RC-28 will provide you with the latest version 1.01 providing the following improvement :

• Improved operation stability after your PC comes out of the sleep mode.

Please note that the RS-BA1 software must be installed on your PC to update the program.
