New Onboard Commercial Solutions from Icom
Radio Communication Company, Icom UK are pleased to announce details of a new approved onboard UHF communications solution designed for super yachts and large commercial vessels. Based on the company's existing successful commercial radio products, the IC-F22 UHF Handheld Transceiver or IC-F61 waterproof UHF Handheld Transceiver provide onboard radio communications for vessels where UHF marine frequencies are licensed. For larger commercial vessels, both products together with the IC-FR4100 UHF 25W FM repeater will provide an effective onboard radio system.
The IC-F22 offers simple operation and strong commercial build at a very low cost. This makes the radio ideal for those vessel owners that are searching for a straightforward yet dependable communication solution.
The IC-F61 meets the same waterproofing standards as many Icom marine VHF handhelds. This makes it ideal for anyone whose communications needs require them both above or below deck.
To extend the range of the IC-F22 or IC-F61 Icom supply the IC-FR4100 repeater. Compact in design it will instantaneously retransmit received audio without any noticeable delay and extend the operating range of the handportables. The IC-FR4100 can also be used as a stand alone base station.
