Rugby RATS choose Icom station from W&S after burglary

On New Years Eve three members of the Rugby Amateur Radio Club visited the Waters & Stanton showroom in Hockley in Essex to replace radio equipment stolen from their club shack. The decided to buy an Icom station comprising IC-756PROII and IC-910 base station transceivers.

The photo above shows right to left Club Chairman, Steve, G8LYB and fellow members Carl G0NZI and Mike, M3PEP with Jeff Stanton, M3JJS, after making their purchase. Carl said they had tightened up on security and the rigs would not be left in the Club shack in the future.
