Skiing With Icom!

Andrew Longley, a promising young talent in the world of Freestyle Skiing has been sponsored with a pair of Icom IC-4088SR Licence free handsets, courtesy of radio specialists LAM Communications. Andy and his coach Jeff Fozzard are now aiming for Vancouver 2010 for an Olympic start.

Although he is only 17, Andrew has competed all over the world in a variety of events, most notably the World Ski Championships, the Australian New Zealand Cup and the Europa Cup. He has recently been in Japan competing in the Freestyle Mogul Championships, achieving a top 30 place and gaining valuable World Cup points.

The Icom IC-4088SRs donated by LAM Communications will be used for communications between Andrew and Jeff in his training programme for the upcoming Olympic Winter Games.
