Icom Launch New IC-F5012 Simple to use Mobile Radio Series

The new IC-F5012 mobile radio series from Icom is a simple to operate, robust mobile radio that is ideal for businesses and light industrial use alike. With eight memory channels and a simple LED display, the radios provide straight-forward dependable operation.

The IC-F5012 series has been designed with an uncomplicated LED display that makes it very easy to use. It features backlit illuminated switches and channel selections. The front panel has LED indicators, these allow the radio to be used with ease in low light conditions. Despite its compact size, the transceiver offers a built-in speaker, capable of delivering a full 4 watts of clear audio.

Channel data can be quickly configured with PC cloning software. This means that customer's data can be quickly programmed or changed to suit individual users even when in the vehicle. Options include enhanced security features to prevent unauthorised use. The transceiver can be programmed to accept password operation. Another superb feature of this radio is the ability to stun and turn off the radio from another source.

Built to withstand everyday use in arduous commercial environments, the IC-F5012 series has a polycarbonate front panel and die cast chassis that has been tested to MIL-STD-810 F standards for shock and vibration. The new series comes with a 2 year warranty.
