Two New Adapter Cables for Icom Marine Fixed VHF Radios

We are pleased to introduce two new L-Type conversion adapter cables for our marine fixed VHF radios: the OPC-2522L and OPC-2523L. These cables allow the straight connector from the hand mic to the radio to be angled at 90 degrees for certain applications where access and room may be at a premium or for owners who would like to route their mic cable in a 90-degree direction.

Who would benefit from these new adapter cables?

Anyone who uses the HM-205RB, the HM-195 and the HM-229 from the radios listed below.

If you are interested in this new connector to enhance your VHF, here is a list of compatible models:

OPC-2522L:for IC-M510E and IC-M605EURO (using the HM-205 microphone)

OPC-2523L: for HM-195 COMMANDMIC (used on our IC-M423GE, IC-M510, IC-M605 and both the IC-M510BB/M410BB) and the HM-229 (for IC-M510 and IC-M605)
