Icom UK Sponsors 36th National Open Bass Fishing Festival

We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the annual National Open Bass Fishing Festival, organised by the Herne Bay Angling Association (HBAA). This year marks the 36th event of this kind for the association, a testament to their dedication to angling and the festival's enduring popularity.

The competition takes place between 5:00am on Friday 25th July to 5:00pm Sunday 27th July and is open to both beach and boat anglers.

The top angler will net a £500 cash prize, with other cash prizes available for second and third places. Each cash prize will also come with a premium marine VHF radio, courtesy of Icom UK, making a sought after prize for anyone who uses the water for work or play.

Those interested in participating in the Bass Festival can download and print the entry form from the side of this page.

Alternatively, pre-printed forms can be collected from the HBAA club house.
