Icom Digital Comms for Be Wiser Kawasaki Superbike Team
An Icom IDAS UHF digital two radio system is being used this season by the Be Wiser Kawasaki Superbike Team, who are competing in the 2015 British Superbike Championship.
At the beginning of the season Icom UK supplied the team with IC-F4102D UHF digital handportable radios and headsets for use in the pits and on the pit wall. High noise level is an inherent problem in motorsport; communications can be distorted, misunderstood or just simply not heard. The radios have been integral in distributing all instructions and information crucial to the smooth operation and running of a successful team.
