STOP PRESS: ID-51 PLUS2 Samples on Show at Newark Hamfest

We are pleased to announce that we have just received two samples of the forthcoming ID-51 PLUS2 D-STAR digital transceiver and we intend to show them off at the Newark Hamfest.

Recently launched at the Tokyo Hamfair, the ID-51 PLUS2 incorporates features found in the original ID-51E, including integrated GPS, an independent AM/FM receiver, V/V, U/U, V/U Dualwatch, enhancements for digital operation and compatibility with the RS-MS1A free Android application found in the PLUS models. The ID-51 PLUS2 now adds Terminal and Access Point modes and a personal communications portal allowing you to communicate into the Global *D-STAR network!
