Icom IC-M423G VHF/DSC Marine Radio Awarded ‘Best Buy’ in Yachting Monthly Magazine Review.

The review team at Yachting Monthly Magazine have given thumbs up to Icom’s IC-M423G VHF/DSC Marine Radio.

In a recent comparison review against other models in the July issue of Yachting Monthly, Icom’s latest fixed range VHF/DSC marine radio has been voted ‘Best Buy’. The IC-M423G which is one of Icom’s new models to feature an integrated GPS receiver, allows current position, date and time to be used for DSC calls which will ultimately contribute to the safety of any boat user. Importantly, this integration allows for straightforward, efficient fitting so for an open top power boat or yacht, installation has never been so simple.

The review said, ‘Icom has long supplied bulletproof VHF radio and this latest model is no exception. It worked just as it should with its internal GPS having no trouble placing a rapid fix.
