What is the best way of operating the IC-SAT100 Satellite PTT handheld radio?

To get the best operation from your IC-SAT100 radio, extend your arm horizontally and raise your thumb. Make sure that there are no obstacles higher than about 8 degrees. Hold the radio with its antenna straight up, pointing to the sky so that they are line of sight with the Iridium satellites.

When you transmit and hold the transceiver in your hand, always keep it in front of your face.
