Will the IC-M506 with AIS and NMEA 2000 capabilities send AIS data from the NMEA 2000 port to an NMEA 0183 device?

No, it only passes that data to an NMEA 2000 network. You can use an aftermarket NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 converter such as Actisense NGW-1 (not an endorsement) to make it work with both standards.
