Icom UK Proudly Supports the 2026 Herne Bay Bass Fishing Festival

Returning for its 37th year, the annual National Open Bass Fishing Festival remains a highlight of the summer for anglers. Icom UK are incredibly proud to continue our sponsorship of the local event, hosted by the Herne Bay Angling Association (HBAA) whose dedication keeps the festival going strong year after year.

The competition takes place between 5:00am on Friday 31st July to 5:00pm Sunday 2nd August and is open to beach and boat anglers. The entry fee is £20.00 (£10 for under 18’s) and the top angler will catch a £500 cash prize, with other cash prizes awarded to second and third places.

First, second and third placements will also come with a premium marine VHF radio courtesy of Icom UK, making this a practical prize for any sailor or yachtsman.

Those wanting to participate in the Bass Festival can download and print the entry form from the side of this page. Alternatively, pre-printed forms can be collected from the HBAA club house.
