SP-41 External Speaker Matching External Speaker for the IC-7610 The Icom SP-41 speaker is designed to perfectly complement several of Icom's communications products. The SP-41 is equipped with two tone select switches: High: Cut/Wide and Low: Cut1/Cut2. This allows you to filter and control of the audio characteristics of received signals. The SP-41 rear panel features two audio input jacks (3.5 mm mini jack). Input A or B may be selected from a switch on the front of the speaker. There is also a Speaker On/Off switch and a 1/4 inch headphone jack on the front panel. There is a flip-out tilt stand. Icom includes two high quality audio cables (3.5mm to 3.5mm). The SP-41 is compatible with the: IC-718, IC-7300, IC-7410, IC-7610, IC-9100, IC-9700 and IC-R8600.

This model has a high-performance real-time spectrum scope and employs a RF direct sampling system. The IC-7300’s real-time spectrum scope provides top-level performance in resolution, sweep speed and dynamic range. While listening to received audio, the operator can check the real-time spectrum scope and quickly move to the intended signal. The combination of the real-time spectrum scope and waterfall function improves the quality and efficiency of HF operation.
The IC-7410 from Icom has been designed as a specialised HF/6M transceiver sporting excellent performance and features. The IC-7410 employs a high grade DSP unit and double conversion super-heterodyne system developed from the latest technology found in higher grade Icom rigs including the IC-7600, IC-7700 and IC-7800 series. In addition, the IC-7410 has a built-in 15kHz 1st IF filter and can accept up to two optional filters (3kHz/6kHz). When operated with these 1st IF filters, narrow mode signals such as the CW and SSB modes are protected from adjacent and unwanted strong signal interference.
Whether it is poor band conditions, or battling to pick out a call in a large pile-up, faint signals have always been a challenge for DXers and Contesters around the world. The difference between putting the QSO in the log or having to try another time is the capability of your receiver. The IC-R8600 is a super wideband communication receiver that covers the radio spectrum from 10 kHz to 3 GHz. It also has the capability to decode selected digital communication signals including, D-STAR, NXDN, dPMR and P25. The IC-R8600 incorporates the latest software demodulation technology incorporated on Icom’s latest HF Amateur radios, providing superior performance and intuitive operation. With the optional remote control software for a Windows PC, received audio and spectrum scope data can be transferred through an IP network for monitoring from remote locations.
