  In today’s connected world, the IC-7760 introduces a new connected system consisting of a remote control head and RF deck connected with a commercially available control (LAN) cable. This concept increases the flexibility of your station installation, making more space available on the desktop by placing the RF deck in an area closer to the antenna feed point. In addition to the direct connect feature, control head to RF deck, utilise your home network to make any tabletop your shack and a PC is not required!

The Icom IC-7760 is a powerful 200W HF/50 MHz Transceiver and this video gives an overview on how to unlock its full potential by building your own Remote HF Station using the dedicated RC-7760 Remote Controller.

The optional RC-7760 remote controller can be used as an additional control head for the IC-7760. Want to operate from another room or even a different location? Up to five control heads can be registered with the RF deck (note: only one control head can connect to the radio and take control at a time).

For a clean, wireless remote setup, commercially available Wi-Fi® access points can be connected to the LAN port to enable a wireless connection, giving you a truly flexible, high-frequency operation environment.
