SM-30 Desktop Microphone The SM-30 Desktop Microphone, is an entry level desktop microphone designed to work with Icom's range of HF base station radios. FEATURES
• Goose-neck desktop microphone with an 8-pin metal connector
• PTT / PTT lock switches
• Low-cut filter
• Cosmetic design matches smaller sized base station radios
• Voice characteristics designed for SSB and FM
• Adjustable microphone output level Suitable for Icom base units including IC-7851, IC-7610, IC-7700, IC-7300, IC-718, IC-9100 and IC-9700. Please note that IC-7000 and IC-7100 requires OPC-589.
Stylish and compact, the IC-7000 is the first radio in its class to have IF DSP. In fact, with features such as digital IF filter, digital twin PBT and manual notch filter the IC-7000 offers unparalleled performance not seen in a radio in this class before. Usability has also been enhanced with the incorporation of a 2.5 inch colour TFT display, eight direct access buttons and a detachable head for vehicle mounting. In short, the IC-7000 symbolises great leaps in performance, features, operability and design.
In 1995, almost two decades ago, Icom changed the way radio hams thought about mobile HF communication with the introduction of the IC-706. Since that time, the Icom Mobile HF radios have been the Performance HF mobile radio of choice. Now, at the 2012 Tokyo Hamfair, Icom has once again changed mobile HF communications with the introduction of the IC-7100.
Aimed as an entry-level product, the IC-718 continues all the traditions of high quality engineering that you would expect from Icom. Conveniently sized and easy to operate, the IC-718 utilises all the latest RF and digital technology and is designed to be one of the most practical rigs ever! The IC-718 offers an excellent overall specification coupled with ease of use. The first thing that strikes you about the IC-718 is its similarity to the IC-R75 and more importantly that the speaker is mounted on the front panel of the transceiver. With the speaker facing the operator audio can now be more clearly heard during operation.
The IC-7300 is a revolutionary compact radio that will excite HF operators from beginners to experts. This new model has a high-performance real-time spectrum scope and employs a new RF direct sampling system. The IC-7300’s real-time spectrum scope provides top-level performance in resolution, sweep speed and dynamic range. While listening to received audio, the operator can check the real-time spectrum scope and quickly move to the intended signal. The combination of the real-time spectrum scope and waterfall function improves the quality and efficiency of HF operation.
Whether it is poor band conditions, or battling to pick out a call in a large pile-up, faint signals have always been a challenge for DXers and Contesters around the world. The difference between putting the QSO in the log or having to try another time is the capability of your receiver. One key factor is the RMDR capabilities, the ability to pick out a faint signal in the presence of stronger, adjacent signals. The IC-7610 introduces dual RF direct sampling receivers, achieving 110dB RMDR, rivalling that of top-of-the-line transceivers.
The IC-7700 HF/50MHz transceiver shares many features with its 'big brother', the world famous IC-7800. With two independent DSP units, a +40dBm* 3rd order intercept point and ultra wide dynamic range to name but a few of the features.
Contesters and DXers are always looking for that competitive edge to magically pull out the weak signal that is either that rare country or multiplier they need to climb up the list. Larger antennas, higher gain pre-amps and other devices in line are great. However, what happens inside the radio with all those signals coming down your feedline can defeat all your efforts.
The IC-9100 all-in-one HF/VHF/UHF transceiver covers not only HF, 6M, 2M, 70cm and 23cm* Amateur radio bands, but also a variety of operating modes including SSB, CW, AM and FM. It also features dual band simultaneous reception, satellite mode operation and RTTY decode on the display.
The Icom IC-9700 is the first VHF/UHF/1200 MHz transceiver which introduces the RF direct sampling system for the 144 and 430 MHz bands, a real-time spectrum scope and waterfall function. The RF direct sampling system has already provided high performance in Icom's IC-7610 and IC-7300 HF transceivers. In addition, the spectrum scope and waterfall function have been indispensable tools for operators to increase QSO opportunities, without missing weak signals. The radio has many other impressive features including a built-in 1200 MHz band, 4.3 inch TFT colour touchscreen display, full duplex with Dualwatch on separate bands, Satellite mode, D-STAR DV (Digital Voice) /DD (Digital Data) modes and Terminal/Access point modes. Also, a newly designed power amplifier and cooling system provide stable and high-efficiency operation, even when continuously transmitting for a long time.
