My IC-F3262 antenna appears to fit on the IC-F3400. Will it work ok?

No! The IC-F3400 antenna connectors are different. The IC-F3262 antenna will crush the centre connector in the IC-F3400 series.

Always make sure you use the correct antenna that has been designed for your Icom two way radio!
