Icom UK Launch dPMR Digital Business Two Way Radio Solutions at FCS Business Radio 2013

Icom UK will be showing its new range of dPMR digital two way radio solutions at the FCS Business Radio event on Thursday 14 November, at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon. The event is a meeting place for the whole Business Radio community bringing together the UK regulator, dealers and users to review regulatory changes and new business developments. Icom will be launching their new dPMR Mode 3 Digital Trunking System, IC-F3262D Waterproof Digital Radio with Built-in GPS and the latest version of the RMS-Net radio management system.

Details of these product launches are as follows

• Icom dPMR Mode 3 Digital Trunking System, New!
Icom’s dPMR Mode 3 digital trunking system is aimed at businesses and organisations who are looking for a fully networked multi-site trunking system. This may be as a new system or as a replacement of an old MPT system. Combining Icom dPMR radios with Fylde Micro’s controller, MultiLingo, the Mode 3 system can range in size from a single site up to 16 site trunking operation.

The Icom/Fylde solution is unique in the fact that it can offer an immediate migration path from MPT to dPMR without the requirement of any MPT operation in the IDAS terminals. The Fylde controller has the ability to encode/decode analogue MPT signals to digital dPMR and vice versa. This avoids the considerable expense of requiring a parallel infrastructure set up to allow an MPT and dPMR digital system to work together.

• IC-F3262D Waterproof Digital Radio with Built-in GPS, New!
Icom’s IC-F3262D handheld digital two way radio combines a rugged, waterproof and dustproof construction with GPS receiver. This makes it a highly versatile transceiver for those looking to improve communications and safety within an organisation.

• RMS-Net Radio Management System version 4, New!
RMS-Net radio management system utilises Icom two way radios and computer software to provide efficient communication within the workforce and the improvement of management of Health and Safety throughout an organisation. This new release of RMS-Net is now even more flexible providing Voice Recording as well as the ability to remotely control your radio system. RMS-Net can also integrate with other Icom security systems including Icom’s i-LOC Security Management System or i-READ Guard Tour Management System.
