New Icom Radio Launches at the Southampton Boatshow 2023 (Stand F017)

Icom's expert team will be on hand to demonstrate its latest range of marine radio products including new product launches as well as answer any related questions on stand (F017) at the Southampton Boatshow between the 15th and 24th of September 2023.

Setting Sail with New Products: IC-M410BB and IC-M510BB
Icom UK is set to impress boating enthusiasts and industry professionals by introducing two new marine VHF radios, the IC-M410BB and IC-M510BB Black Box VHF Radios with Multi-Station Control.

Designed for marine professionals and enthusiasts alike, these compact black box VHF radios can be installed out of sight providing a clean and uncluttered appearance at the helm. With their modular design these radios offer versatile installation options. They can be easily integrated into various vessels including yachts, powerboats and commercial vessels.

One of the standout features of these radios is the Multi-Station Control capability. Up to three independent stations can be set up from the IC-M510BB utilising the optional HM- 95GB CommandMic (up to two stations are available with the IC-M410BB). This allows for convenient communication from multiple locations on the vessel improving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless coordination among the crew.

The IC-M510BB is the higher tier version of this radio featuring an AIS Receiver function with the display on the CommandMic, a voice recording function and a dedicated DSC Remote Control function allowing connection to PC console software or an external device.

Introducing the IC-U20SR Ultra Compact Licence-Free Walkie Talkie
In addition to their marine VHF radio range, Icom UK will debut the IC-U20SR, an ultra-compact, licence-free walkie-talkie. Operating on the PMR446 frequency band the IC-U20SR requires no licence allowing users to communicate without regulatory restrictions.

Designed for general-purpose short-range communications the, IC-U20SR has a compact stylish design and convenient features including simple controls and long battery life. This radio will become a dependable tool for boaters, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. The radio is also suitable for onboard comms or as a general-purpose radio to keep in touch with your friends or family when visiting onshore.

Other Highlights and Show Offers
Also on show will be the IC-M510E advanced marine VHF/DSC radio which allows you to control and operate wirelessly from a smartphone and comes in two variants; a VHF only and a VHF with built-in AIS receive. The IC-M94DE is the only handheld VHF with DSC, GPS and AIS receiver built in will also be on display.
