IC-7800 Firmware Update Rev. 2.20 Now Available

There is a new firmware update (Rev. 2.20) for the IC-7800 on the English homepage of the Icom Inc. website.

The firmware update will provide the following improvements:

- Improved transmit function in sending transmit memory contents in operation in the RTTY/PSK mode (using an external keypad)
- Improvement in sending voice memory in SSB mode and CW memory keyer contents in the CW mode (using external USB keyboard)
- Programmable custom band-edge frequencies. User hears a beep when tuning out of, or into the programmed Amateur band. An operator can now limit transmitting outside the programmed frequency band.
