Ramsgate Week 2026 Chose Icom UK for Radio Communications

This year’s Ramsgate regatta takes place from Saturday the 18th to Friday the 24th of July and will be hosted by its resident venue, the Royal Temple Yacht Club. With a legacy spanning over a century, the historic event is widely renowned for its warm hospitality and consistently attracts a diverse crowd of sailors and spectators nationwide.

As proud supporters of this event for over 15 years, our marine handheld VHF radios will be used by the various teams responsible for coordinating the events on both land and sea. Icom radios will be used by the race management team, race control and committee boats to ensure a safe, efficient week of high-class competitive sailing.

Royal Temple Yacht Club Commodore Karen Cox commented, “The radios will help us be more responsive to emergencies and improve the management of the week. We are extremely grateful for Icom's support and look forward to continuing our long and lasting relationship with them as our communications supplier.”
