It incorporates 22 relays that switch combinations of inductance and capacitance to achieve tuning - typically within 1 to 3 seconds.

The AH-4 comes with a 16 foot (5 m) control cable that connects to the rear panel of compatible Icom transceivers.

Compatible with the IC-706MKIIG, IC-746, IC-7400, IC-7410, IC-718, IC-756, IC-756PROII, IC-7100, IC-7300, IC-7610 and IC-9100.

  • IC-7000
Stylish and compact, the IC-7000 is the first radio in its class to have IF DSP. In fact, with features such as digital IF filter, digital twin PBT and manual notch filter the IC-7000 offers unparalleled performance not seen in a radio in this class before. Usability has also been enhanced with the incorporation of a 2.5 inch colour TFT display, eight direct access buttons and a detachable head for vehicle mounting. In short, the IC-7000 symbolises great leaps in performance, features, operability and design.

  • IC-706MKIIG
The IC-706MKIIG HF/VHF/UHF mobile transceiver takes radio technology a step further by incorporating an expanded frequency range which now includes 430MHz. This provides access to the 70cm band in addition to HF, 6m and 2m bands. The operating possibilities are therefore much wider for local or DX operation whether as a base station, mobile transceiver, or in the field using only one rig.

  • IC-7100
In 1995, almost three decades ago, Icom changed the way radio hams thought about mobile HF communication with the introduction of the IC-706. Since that time, the Icom Mobile HF radios have been the Performance HF mobile radio of choice. Now, Icom has once again changed mobile HF communications with the introduction of the IC-7100.
  • IC-718
Aimed as an entry-level product, the IC-718 continues all the traditions of high quality engineering that you would expect from Icom. Conveniently sized and easy to operate, the IC-718 utilises all the latest RF and digital technology and is designed to be one of the most practical rigs ever! The IC-718 offers an excellent overall specification coupled with ease of use. The first thing that strikes you about the IC-718 is its similarity to the IC-R75 and more importantly that the speaker is mounted on the front panel of the transceiver. With the speaker facing the operator audio can now be more clearly heard during operation.
  • IC-7200
The IC-7200 HF/50MHz transceiver maintains all the traditions of high quality engineering that you expect from Icom. Rugged in design and easy to operate, the IC-7200 utilises the latest digital functions including digital IF filter, twin PBT and manual notch filter which are normally associated with more expensive models. The IC-7200 is ideal for field operation or at home in your shack and is designed to be one of the most practical rigs available.

  • IC-7300
The IC-7300 is a revolutionary compact radio that will excite HF operators from beginners to experts. This model has a high-performance real-time spectrum scope and employs a RF direct sampling system. The IC-7300’s real-time spectrum scope provides top-level performance in resolution, sweep speed and dynamic range. While listening to received audio, the operator can check the real-time spectrum scope and quickly move to the intended signal. The combination of the real-time spectrum scope and waterfall function improves the quality and efficiency of HF operation.
  • IC-7400
The IC-7400 covers HF, 50MHz and 144MHz bands with a powerful 100W of output power and carries on the reputation earned by the IC-746. It offers improved performance and a wide range of new features that are destined to set a new benchmark in this important market. The biggest news of all is that this new transceiver has adopted the same IF DSP as the IC-756PRO and its successor, the IC-756PRO2. ICOM has used a 32-bit floating point DSP and 24-bit AD/DA converter at the heart of the IC-7400, which makes this base station fresh and exciting. Furthermore, the digital IF filter shape is selectable from sharp to soft for both SSB and CW modes. Now let's just see what else this new rig has to offer the demanding Amateur.

  • IC-7410
The IC-7410 from Icom has been designed as a specialised HF/6M transceiver sporting excellent performance and features. The IC-7410 employs a high grade DSP unit and double conversion super-heterodyne system developed from the latest technology found in higher grade Icom rigs including the IC-7600, IC-7700 and IC-7800 series. In addition, the IC-7410 has a built-in 15kHz 1st IF filter and can accept up to two optional filters (3kHz/6kHz). When operated with these 1st IF filters, narrow mode signals such as the CW and SSB modes are protected from adjacent and unwanted strong signal interference.
  • IC-756PROIII
The IC-756PROIII incorporates many of the features that made its predecessors so successful. However, the integration of the latest technology employed in the IC-7800 such as receiver technology, +30dBm class IP3, miniscope makes this new rig the very pinnacle of the IC-756PRO series.

  • IC-7600
The IC-7600 HF/50MHz transceiver is enhanced with some of the main features tried and tested on our flagship IC-7700/7800 models, highly regarded by Amateur operators world-wide. Add over 45 years of analogue RF circuit expertise and the result is the IC-7600, a new rig with outstanding performance and a multitude of innovative features including a newly employed double conversion superheterodyne system and dual DSP units and 3kHz IF (roofing) filter.

  • IC-7610
Whether it is poor band conditions, or battling to pick out a call in a large pile-up, faint signals have always been a challenge for DXers and Contesters around the world. The difference between putting the QSO in the log or having to try another time is the capability of your receiver. One key factor is the RMDR capabilities, the ability to pick out a faint signal in the presence of stronger, adjacent signals. The IC-7610 introduces dual RF direct sampling receivers, achieving 110dB RMDR, rivalling that of top-of-the-line transceivers.
  • IC-9100
The IC-9100 all-in-one HF/VHF/UHF transceiver covers not only HF, 6M, 2M, 70cm and 23cm* Amateur radio bands, but also a variety of operating modes including SSB, CW, AM and FM. It also features dual band simultaneous reception, satellite mode operation and RTTY decode on the display.
